ABOUT

Artist and Activist Rick Frausto

BIO: In the span of 25+ years, I've had the honor of being commissioned to create custom works of art for the likes of Audi, The Smithsonian, actress Leisha Hailey of The L Word, Vanity Fair editor and designer Lisa Eisner, photographer Bruce Weber, Free City founder Nina Garduno, and Captain Charles Moore, founder of the Algalita Research Foundation. The countless collectors from all walks of life who've supported my work over the years lie at the heart and soul of what I do.

My work has been featured in exhibitions at the L.A. Municipal Art Gallery, Long Beach Museum of Art, La Luz De Jesus Gallery L.A., Hive Gallery L.A., Lois Lambert Gallery at Bergamot Station in Santa Monica, The Orange County Center for Contemporary Art, Watts Towers Cultural Center, CSULB, CSUF, and many more.

STATEMENT: My process in both life and art is about exploration and pushing past perceived limitations to continuously expand my vision of what’s possible. Through my work, I strive to contribute to a shift in consciousness that leans towards a more balanced, harmonious, and awakened world.

STUDIOS: Take a peek into my former studios in Hollywood and Long Beach, California, to glimpse some of the sculptural works I created during the first 25 years of my career.
